Maritime Bowl III
The Shockers took the opening kickoff and marched the ball
to the Marshal's 20 yard line before settling for a 20 yard field goal
by Dominico Bartolocci. The defences would dominate the remainder of the
first quarter as neither team was able to move the ball.

Football League Final
The Wanderers took the opening kickoff and drove deep into
Marshals territory only to have Matt Cormier pick off a John Hachey pass
on the ten yard line. Moncton drove the ball to midfield where they were
called for illegal procedure on a fourth and one and had to punt. On the
first play from scrimmage Mike Thomas swept right and ran 55 yards to
put Saint John ahead. Jeff Gillies added the convert.

Football League Semi-Final
The Gladiators opened the scoring when Josh Sacobie found
Greg Wallace in the end zone from five yards out. The Convert was no
good.

Week 6- July 24-25 July 24
Halifax Shockers 18 Capital Area Gladiators 7
The Gladiators took the opening kickoff and drove deep
into Halifax territory only to have a fourth down touchdown pass dropped
in the end zone. The Shockers responded with a long drive of their own
that was capped by Ian Ebbett's one yard touchdown run.

Reece Roche opened the scoring for the Seadogs, punting for a 25
yard rouge. Later he connected with Derek Langille on a 60 yard pass
play for a touchdown. The convert was no good leaving the Seadogs ahead
7-0. On the ensuing kickoff Roche scored another rouge putting the
Seadogs ahead 8-0.
Week 5- July 17-18 July 17
Capital Area Gladiators 40 P.E.I. Privateers 14
PEI took the lead on the opening drive with a 14 yard run
by fullback Jason MacDonald. Joe Rashed’s PAT was good. Capital Area
replied when Josh Sacobie threw a 22 yard TD to Jeff Taylor.
The two point conversion was no good.
In the second quarter, Gladiators QB Josh Sacobie threw two
touchdown passes to Alex Paul. One
was for 36 yards, the other for 60 yards.
Only one of the two PAT’s was good. Gladiators: Capitalized on 4 turnovers. Justin Barr had an interception. Rob Doucette had 2 interceptions. Chris Munn had a fumble recovery. Ed Noble had a sack. Privateers: Robert
MacNevin had a fumble recovery. Michael Chaloner made two great catches.
The Knights started off the game with the ball against the
Shockers D. And initially
were unsuccessful. After a
long Punt by Roy Snook, putting the Shockers deep in their zone, it took
some time for the Knights young defense to stand up.
The Shockers offence drove the ball into Knights territory and
Dominico Bartolocci kicked a 35 yard Field Goal.
The Marshals
opened the scoring on Steve Cormier's 50 yard punt return. A one yard
plunge by J.R. Gallant added another six points. Pat Blagrave booted two
converts to put Moncton ahead 14-0 at halftime.
Week 4- July 10-11 July 10

With the PEI offence starting the game off with a quick 3 and out, the Shockers took over with a quick TD pass on their second attempt, from Chris Livingston to Terry Holland. PAT converted by Doug Gelevan. On PEI’s very next drive they slowly marched down the field and punched a TD of their own with a long run from QB Jan Tex Mutch. From there on it was Shockers D. A few Drives later, PEI’s QB, Tex Mutch was picked off by Doug Gelevan and returned for a 10 yard TD. PAT not converted. In the dying minutes of the 2nd quarter Chris Livingston completed another TD pass, this time to Charles Marshall from 35 yards out. PAT Converted by Doug Gelevan. Making it 20-6 at the half. In the second half it was the shockers Big D winning the battle, shutting down the PEI offence. But the Shockers offence would tack on a few more points before they were done. Late in the 3rd, QB Chris Livingston hit Chris MacLean for a 25 yard TD. Again the PAT converted by Doug Gelevan. And with just minutes left in the game, back-up QB Trevor Slaunwhite came into the game and capped it off with a 40yard TD to Chris Livingston. The PAT turned into a broken play, but Doug Gelevan managed to regain control of the ball and convert a 2 pointer to RB Ian Ebbett. With the final score 35-6.
July 11 Capital Area Gladiators 21 Simonds Seadogs 6 The Seadogs
opened the scoring when Reece Roche connected with Jon Dodge on a 20
yard touchdown pass. The convert was no good.

Dartmouth Knights 14 Capital Area Gladiators 7
No details reported. July 4 Saint John Wanderers 51 Simonds Seadogs 0 The
Wanderers would score three first quarter TD's on two short runs by Jon
Haines and another by Mike Thomas. All three touchdowns were set up by
long passes from John Hachey to three different receivers. Jeff Gillies
was good on two of three converts to put the Wanderers ahead 20-0 after
one quarter.

Saint John Wanderers 13 Capital Area Gladiators 0
Knights jumped to a 28-0 halftime lead fueled by two Ryan Moxam touchdowns. Seadogs QB, Reece Roche connected with Derek Langille for a touchdown pass. Roche passed to Matt Smith for the two point convert. Bruce Armstrong scored the Knights final TD on a pass. Roy Snook was 5 for 5 on converts for the Knights. June 26 Moncton Marshals 28 Halifax Shockers 6 The Marshals moved to 2-0 on the season with a dominating win against a talented Halifax squad.

quarterback Daniel Williams threw two touchdown passes to Calvin Lucas
and one each to T.C. Croft, Bruce Armstrong and Joshua Hamilton. John
Banfield returned a kickoff for a TD and Ryan Moxam rushed for another. June 20 Moncton Marshals 43 Capital Area Gladiators 14 The Marshals
got two touchdowns from Steve Cormier and Alex Best with Mitch Willinger
and Mike Cochran adding one each.
