Frank Morris

&1944 Halifax Navy (Stadacona) Toronto Argonauts
Frank Morris began his football career during the Second World
War playing for Navy teams in Toronto and Halifax. With the
experience gained from these games, many of the HMCS York Team players,
including Morris, joined the Argonauts after the war. Morris,
considered a tremendous Guard and Defensive Tackle played for Toronto
and Edmonton while in the CFL. Frank's talents helped the Argos to
3 consecutive Grey Cup victories from 1945 to 1947. In 1948,
Morris was chosen Argos team Captain and was named to Toronto's All-Time
